Colm O’Regan Wants a Word is the RTE Radio 1 PPI award winning comedy show that takes a humorous funny tour around the brain of the top selling writer and performer as he talks about one of his favourite subjects – our use of language.

Two episodes of Colm O’Regan Wants A Word will be recorded on one special night here at the Sugar Club (near the corner of Leeson Street and Stephens Green) on Sunday March 5th. With the aid of guest experts plus sketches performed with brilliant comedy actors Paul Tylak and Tara Flynn, our favourite Corkman – author of last year’s best selling Bolloxology – will unpick the linguistic foibles that characterise this wordy nation of ours.

The Sugar Club will be dressed up as a radio studio on the night so book your tickets now for a unique evening of comedy. On Sunday March 5th Colm ‘wants a word’ on two topics –

–   Colm O’Regan Wants A World-Wide Word – the show is  about how we talk online and how the growth of the internet has changed the way we speak and write

–  Colm O’Regan Wants A Bleedin’ Word  a whistle-stop tour of slang and bad language within all classes and regions of Ireland

COLM O’REGAN WANTS A WORD is produced by Sideline Productions as part of RTE Radio 1’s Comedy Showhouse in association with the BAI and grintageireland.com .
