Bealtaine—this 3rd Actor accepts the part!
I am honoured to be part of the team that brings the Bealtaine Festival to the nation every May. I am starting a 3-year position as Live Events Programmer and look forward to working with Dr. Tara Byrne and her team to deliver a special national event year-on-year that unites us all in celebrating that life is not over in middle/old age. Take it from me—an Old Age Punk. Let’s embrace our 3rd Act with gusto and look forward to exploring ‘what you wanted to be when you grow up.’
For clarity’s sake, I am not retiring from creating or producing screen hits! This is a part-time role, at most 15/20 days of the year. Watch out for announcements in March 2026 for some very special live events during Bealtaine May 2026.
PS: For the visitors: Bealtaine is Gaelic for May.
